On 22nd February, 2011, Christchurch, New Zealand, suffered an earthquake that measured 6.3 on the Richter Scale. Here in the UK, there was shock as well as sadness at the news – New Zealand is part of the Western World!

As Christchurch lies shattered and exhausted in the aftermath of Tuesday's devastating quake, a caring group of artists are showing off their solidarity with art.

Pink Noise is sounding off again in Auckland  - with its second Art Show Night and a celebration of the launch of the 5th Zine!

Pink Noise presents Lara Scotton, one of the many talented artists that will be attending The NZ Tattoo and Art Festival in November. She talks about her interesting career and how she came to be involved in the festival.

Pink Noise, a New Zealand based artist community, and regularly published zine at www.pinknoise.co.nz, will be holding their first gallery showcase at Roasted Addiqtion on Friday the 8th of October at 7:30 pm.
