oOh!media Limited (ASX: OML) (oOh! or Company) is pleased to announce the appointment of Timothy Miles as an independent Non-Executive Director, effective at the conclusion of the Company’s 2019 Annual General Meeting held on 16 May 2019.

oOh!’s Chair, Tony Faure, welcomed Mr Miles, who was appointed following an extensive search for an additional independent Non-Executive Director, on behalf of the Board.

"We are delighted that Tim is joining our Board. His significant experience, both internationally and in New Zealand, notably in technology and digital development, will be a much-valued addition to the existing skills and experience of his fellow Directors," Mr Faure said.

Based in Auckland, Mr Miles is currently a Non-Executive Director of New Zealand listed Genesis, Nyriad (a software enabled data storage tech business), UDC finance (New Zealand’s largest Finance business) and is Chair of the Gut Cancer Foundation.

Previously, he has held various senior leadership roles including as Chief Executive Officer of Spark Digital, Managing Director of listed agricultural services group PGG Wrightson, Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone New Zealand and Chief Executive of Vodafone UK and Group Chief Technology Officer of Vodafone plc. Mr Miles has also held senior roles at IBM, Data General Corporation and Unisys Corporation and will bring to the Board and Company insights into technology, sales and marketing.

Chief Executive Officer of oOh!, Brendon Cook, said the appointment would strengthen the Company’s presence in, and commitment to, the New Zealand market.

Following the acquisition of the street furniture business (formerly Adshel), oOh!media has the most diverse and integrated national audience delivery network in the industry, with the largest coverage in New Zealand.

The Board intends to appoint an additional suitable independent Non-Executive Director in the near future.
