Eastern European startup "Picodi" makes hundreds of money-saving deals available for Kiwi e-shoppers.

Picodi is a smart-shopping platform operating since 2010, available among others in the UK, Australia and the US. Since July 2019, the website is available also in New Zealand.

The website offers its NZ users unlimited free access to promo codes and coupons to over 150 local and international online shops, giving a chance to save on clothes, shoes, electronics, home appliance, travel tickets or food delivery.

According to Picodi’s internal data, the average online shopper using coupons spends NZ$119 per order, saving on average 38% on an ordinary day and up to 55% during special events like Black Friday or Click Frenzy.

The largest online spenders are Emiratis with NZ$311 per order. The people who benefit the most from promo codes are users from Portugal and Greece - the average discount in these countries amounts to 48%.
