AIM Proximity has been named the 2nd best Direct Marketing agency in the world for 2009 by The Won Report, up one place from its 2008 ranking of 3rd. In addition, Proximity Worldwide has been named the top Direct Marketing network in the world for the third consecutive year.

"We are rapt with this result which yet again proves some of the best work in the world is coming out of New Zealand," said AIM Proximity CEO Adam Good. "It was also excellent to see Rapp Collins New Zealand make the top 10 direct agencies. A big congratulations must go to Dave King and Wayne Pick for their contributions and high Creative Director rankings."

The Won Report ranks the best direct agencies and networks by the quality and quantity of awards won. Award shows span global, regional and local competitions.

In the official release announcing the results, judges singled out AIM Proximity as one of the most interesting agencies of 2009 out of all media and disciplines.

"The most interesting agencies of the year are BBDO New York, Shackleton Madrid, Ogilvy Frankfurt and AIM Proximity Auckland. As well as doing the bread-and-butter work to the highest standards, these agencies are also persuading their clients to meet the future with innovative work that defies categorisation," commented the judges.

AIM Proximity Auckland had three of the top ten awarded Direct campaigns of the year: "Love Conspiracy' (#7), "The Yellow Tree House" (#8) and "iPhone Jonny" (#10). AIM Proximity's former creative director Dave King was ranked the fourth best Creative Director in the world.
