The All Blacks have now lost two matches against the World Champion Springboks in two weeks.

In the last game they were completely outplayed. What ever there game plan was it was shut down.

At the end of the match coach Graham Henry was quoted saying “that the team played to the game plan”.

What? Was your game plan Mr Henry to lose?

Where have all the thinkers gone? At some point in the game at least one of the All Blacks must have realized that the plan they were playing to was failing and that, well perhaps they could try something else. But no they just kept playing to the game plan Henry set and continued to play crap. They were unconfident, showing that they had little faith in the game plan they were following and yet totally unsure what to do about it.

In Sean Fitzpatrick’s era, they would have changed the strategic game play several times in the game to throw off the opposition, keep them guessing and maintain their advantage.

Unfortunately, today’s players are like high school students; everything is delivered on a platter, they are told how to do everything, there’s actually very little requirement to work stuff out for yourself. So when they get on the field (or real life) they fail to assess the situation and make decisive decisions. Its time to harden the fuck up! Lets get some mongrel back into our game, show some bloody fight, show us you want to be there. Come-on All Blacks Come-on!
