German Food Research Group Adopts Syft Solutions As Sales Momentum Increases

16 December 2008 - Syft Technologies has concluded another sale to the lucrative Food Research sector by today announcing that a key German Food Research customer is proceeding to a full sale, this follows the conclusion of their three month lease-to-buy contract.

This sale has been concluded with the assistance of Syft's German Distributor Axel Semrau GmBh and is the first lease-to-buy conversion for the distributor.

The Food, Flavour and Fragrance sector is one of the four major sectors being focused on by Syft's International Sales and Marketing team as it grows is product footprint internationally.

International Sales Manager John Billows commented, "We have been researching and working closely with key thought leaders and influencers in this sector for some time. We have built excellent and mutually beneficial relationships with research groups such as Dr Andy Taylor at the University of Nottingham and Professors Jim Harper and Sheryl Barringer of The Ohio State University. Working with these well respected food researchers has allowed us really understand where our technology fits and where we can add significant value, which in turn has lead to the sales we are now seeing in this sector."

Syft has had growing success in the USA Food and Flavour Market. Its technology was well received at the prestigious International Food Technologists conference in New Orleans earlier in the year and commercial agreements are in development with some of the USA's largest Food companies for the supply of more instruments in 2009.

Syft is currently undertaking a Rights Issue to raise up to up to $5 million to facilitate growth in key market sectors.

Geoff Peck said, "This is exceptionally positive news for the company and its shareholders. Following our recent success in the US security sector, realising this new sale conversion in Europe is a great way to end the calendar year. They demonstrate that the hard work put in to build our visibility and establish the potential of our applied technology solutions is now bearing fruit."
