Two new limited-edition designer eco bags from award-winning fashion designer Trelise Cooper's are available in Countdown, Woolworths and Foodtown stores. Following on from the success of last year's designs, Trelise Cooper and Progressive Enterprises are pleased to launch another range to our stores. Priced at $4.99, the designer bags are part of Progressive's ongoing initiative to promote reusable eco bags to provide shoppers with an alternative to using plastic bags.

"There are a wide range of eco bags available for shoppers in our stores," said Peter Smith, Managing Director of Progressive Enterprises. "Offering Trelise Cooper designed-bags provides shoppers with an opportunity to be stylish and green."

Progressive launched its first re-usable eco bags in December 2003, and their popularity continues to grow. "Several thousand eco bags are sold through Progressive Enterprise stores each week, which is clear demonstration of their popularity and customers preference to invest in an alternative to plastic bags," sais Mr Smith.

"I designed two very different bags for summer," said Trelise Cooper. "The hibiscus design is reflective of our beautiful pacific landscape and the polka dots have always been one of my favourite fun designs. I hope you enjoy using these bags as much as I do, and playing your part to reduce our use of plastic bags."
