Wellington, Sept 21 NZPA - The Jackal and Hide saga continues as the ACT Party waits to see if discredited MP David Garrett will leave Parliament or not.

Voters have the option of improving MMP next year, a pro-MMP group said today, following comments from the Prime Minister over the ACT situation.

The Prime Minister is to host an event in Auckland to raise cash for Christchurch quake victims.
Mr Key told Breakfast on TV One that he would host the event at SkyCity on October 4 -- a month after the 7.1 magnitude quake -- with the aim of raising $1 million.
