Wellington, Sept 2 NZPA - Record-breaking hip hop group Smashproof have signed an international licensing deal with Universal Germany.

Hailing from the rugged suburbs of south Auckland, trio Smashproof sits tight on top of the charts. Rapper Tyree talks to JULE SCHERER of NZPA about New Zealand hip-hop and their debut album The Weekend.
