In its annual report released today, NZ On Air marks 20 years of great locally-made programmes and music on television, radio and the web.

Releasing the report, Chairman Neil Walter said that 2009 was a fitting year to celebrate twenty years of local content.

16 August 2009 - Broadcast funding agency NZ On Air today announced the first projects to receive funding from the new Platinum Fund.

The Platinum Fund was established in March this year to stimulate new high-quality locally made television programmes.

22 April 2009 - The Minister of Broadcasting, Dr Jonathan Coleman, has this evening announced the establishment of the Platinum Television Fund for New Zealand-made television content.
