New Plymouth will be bursting at the seams this week with some of New Zealand's most celebrated and exciting musicians performing at the inaugural Sounds Aotearoa.

Acclaimed singer/songwriter Anna Coddington is the latest New Zealand artist to plan a concert in Clevedon, to help the local community action group, Clevedon CARES.

The public will be able to enjoy some of New Zealand's finest musicians next month at Sounds Aotearoa with the announcement today of even more performances over 2 nights of showcases.

Anika Moa and Sola Rosa are teaming up for an unmissable double billing at Wild Bean Cafe ZooMusic on Saturday, 13 February from 6pm.

New Zealand's first dedicated music trade event Sounds Aotearoa is launching with a showcase of some of New Zealand's most talented musicians performing before International agents, buyers and distributors.

Six of New Zealand's top musical talents will be singing for the animals this summer at Auckland's Zoo popular concert series, Wild Bean Cafe ZooMusic.
Opening the series is the dynamic eight-piece Wellington band The Black Seeds (29 Jan), followed by the award-winning Opshop (6 Feb).

Singer and song writer Anika Moa kicks off an extensive tour of New Zealand's smaller centres on Thursday. RACHEL PINDER of NZPA caught up with her.

The days are getting longer and Anika Moa is celebrating with the Aroha Tour 2009 that will take her from as far south as Rakiura/Stewart Island to as far north as Kaitaia, including one very special just-announced show at Auckland's Monte Cristo Room on December 2.
