Auckland, March 21 NZPA - Team New Zealand saved the best to last today with a clinical sailing performance off Auckland to complete a 2-0 victory over Italians Mascalzone Latino and claim the Louis Vuitton Trophy.

Auckland, March 21 NZPA - Team New Zealand completed a 2-0 victory over Italians Mascalzone Latino in a shortened final to win the Louis Vuitton Trophy yachting regatta off Auckland today.

Emirates Team New Zealand has won the first race of the Louis Vuitton Trophy Auckland final, beating Mascalzone Latino by 12 sec.

Wellington, March 20 NZPA - Team New Zealand secured first blood in the final of the Louis Vuitton Trophy yachting regatta, winning the opening race of their best-of-five showdown with Italians Mascalzone Latino by 12sec today.

Auckland, March 19 NZPA - Team New Zealand, starring elimination in the face, completed an immaculate penalty turn at the death today to keep their Louis Vuitton Trophy yachting hopes alive.

Emirates Team New Zealand and Mascalzone Latino have gone through to the semi-final of the Louis Vuitton Trophy Auckland regatta.

ETNZ beat Synergy by 15 seconds to earn their ticket through to the semi-final; Mascalzone Latino beat Aleph by 59sec.

Emirates Team New Zealand has finished top qualifier in the Louis Vuitton Trophy Auckland regatta with a six win, one loss record in the round robin.

In today's final race in the round robin, Emirates Team New Zealand beat Synergy by a minute.

Wellington, March 15 NZPA - New Zealand skipper Dean Barker suffered his first defeat of the Louis Vuitton Trophy yachting regatta off Auckland today, old sparring partner and Aleph skipper Bertrand Pace easing home for a 38 second win in the sixth round of racing.

Emirates Team New Zealand has had its first loss of the Louis Vuitton Trophy Auckland regatta.

The French team Aleph was having the best of their race against Emirates Team New Zealand on Monday when ETNZ's gennaker ripped in the left corner on the first down-wind leg.
