The consultation period for a discussion document on enhancing victims' rights is drawing to a close.

Commerce Minister Simon Power today announced the reappointment of Dr Robin Pratt as Chair of the Testing Laboratory Registration Council.
Dr Pratt's second term of three years starts on May 1.
"I am pleased Dr Pratt has accepted this reappointment," Mr Power said.

The Minister of Justice, Simon Power, leaves for New York tomorrow to present New Zealand's Fifth Periodic Report under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights to the United Nations Human Rights Committee.
