A combined Police and Customs operation has resulted in a large imported quantity of the drug precursor pseudoephedrine, in its powder form, being found at a Napier house last night.

A joint Police and Customs operation has resulted in the arrest of 24 year old New Zealand resident in Wellington today on a charge of Importing the Class 'C' Controlled drug Ephedrine.

Ephedrine is a pre curser ingredient for Methamphetamine.

15 MAY 2009 - North Shore CIB advise that a second person has been arrested as a result of their investigations into the killing of Paul CHONG in Glenfield.

26 February 2009 - A man arrested in December 2006 as part of a year-long investigation into methamphetamine possessors and suppliers and who was due in the Auckland High Court for trial on February 16, is being sought by Police after absconding on February 8 while in the care of his lawyer.

Tauranga, Jan 3 NZPA - Three men who appeared in Tauranga District Court this afternoon in relation to the theft of hundreds of litres of an ingredient used in making P have been bailed until early March.
