Two young kiwi furniture designers will see their designs produced for potential export before they have even left university.

Unitec is urging the Tertiary Education Union to return to the negotiating table and avoid further disruption to students' examination preparations.

A series of panel discussions on the future of the New Zealand economy will be hosted by Unitec during October. Rod Oram, well known journalist, commentator on economic and adjunct Professor at Unitec's Department of Management and Marketing, will facilitate the discussions.
