EVENT Cinemas has confirmed their Exclusive Charity Advance Screening of the soon-to-be released Hollywood blockbuster Ralph Breaks the Internet, which will make its big-screen debut at selected EVENT Cinemas thanks to a special partnership between Event Hospitality and Entertainment and the Starship Foundation.

This partnership means not only will fans have the opportunity to see Ralph Breaks the Internet before everyone else, all proceeds from every ticket sold will be donated directly to the Starship Foundation to help bring better health and brighter futures to sick children from around the country.

The event is set for Saturday, December 8 at EVENT Cinemas Manukau, Albany, Tauranga, Palmerston North, and The Embassy Theatre (Wellington), with the movie starting at 12.30pm.

Fans can be one of the first to see the latest animation in Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet at the Exclusive Charity Advance Screening. From the Directors of ‘Zootopia’ and ‘Wreck-It Ralph’, comes the sequel leaving Litwak’s video arcade behind and venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet - which may or may not survive Ralph’s wrecking.

EVENT Cinemas organiser Kathryn Harris said: "We’d love fans to join us for this special charity advance screening of Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet, a fun day out with the family to enjoy the much-anticipated sequel with proceeds going to a great cause."

"Starship was appointed as our Corporate Charity partner in 2017. This year’s funds will replace aging TVs in patient rooms and waiting areas which provide entertainment and distraction for patients and their families. We also support the Starship Foundation through the company’s workplace giving program matching all employee donations.

"Since the program’s inception, more than 280 employees have taken part in the company’s workplace giving program, donating a further $45,000 including company matching to the Starship Foundation and over $240,000 to our five nominated workplace giving partners."

Tickets for the movie screening are $12 per person and can be pre-purchased online at No online booking fees apply.
