Shane Carson and Cherie Taylor of Canterbury have just over a week to get ready for The Edge 'Nudie Nuptials.' It's time for them to work out, wax and tan in preparation for their big day.
Over 16,000 Edge listeners voted across the week for who they wanted to see tie the knot in the nude. With over 25 percent of the vote, Shane and Cherie will be taking it off and taking the plunge on September 24th on the brand new multimillion dollar Ipipiri Overnight Cruises ship in the Bay of Islands.
Shane and Cherie worked their butts (and clothes) off for their votes. "Thanks to everyone who voted for us, the support was awesome," said Shane. When asked if they had friends around to celebrate, Shane said, "I've got about 1000 cows with me, they seem to be excited."
Shane and Cherie's 'Nudie Nuptials' will screen on TV3's Sunrise on September 24th, as well as streaming live at www.theedge.co.nz.
