With nearly 1000 guesses from around New Zealand, Emma Lewis (20) is no closer to knowing exactly where she is 'Lost in a Box'. People are transfixed watching Emma live on theedge.co.nz as she spends 21 days living in a 2m x 3m windowless box hidden somewhere in NZ for the chance to win $10,000 as part of The Edge's Lost in a Box promotion.
Emma will be given daily clues to share with her audience via the live web feed, and on-air at The Edge. She will be relying on the people watching her to find the box (within 200 metres) on the GeoSmart AA Mapping System. The person who finds her will also win $10,000.
Speaking with The Edge this morning, Emma said "I'm hanging out for a coffee. You don't know how tempting it is to just knock on the box and asked to be let out and it's only my first full day but I'm determined to last the full time."
Emma has continued to answer people's question who are attempting to guess her location, with most speculation being based around the weather and the revelation of clues on TV3's Campbell Live last night.
Speculation is rife that Emma won't last the distance as people are transfixed watching Emma via live web camera at theedge.co.nz and leaving comments for her.
If she lasts the distance, Lewis will be Lost in a Box until September 22.
