Experts Discuss Care And Cultivation Of Roses At Auckland Museum

New Zealand's leading experts on roses discuss the flower's care and cultivation at Auckland Museum's Fabulous Fridays panel discussion on Friday 26 February.

Moderated by broadcaster, columnist and gardening personality Maggie Barry, the panel will discuss how to display roses to their best advantage in a garden setting. It will explore time honoured traditions and innovative designs using colour co-ordinated plant combinations.

The panel features Jack Hobbs, Curator Manager of Auckland Botanic Gardens; Karen Lowther, award winning designer and manager of Eden Gardens; Jocelen Janon, President of Heritage Roses New Zealand and Ewen Cameron, Auckland Museum's Curator of Botany, who will explain what makes the rose unique.

Take advantage of a combined 150 years of rose growing knowledge and come armed with your own questions. Tickets cost $15 which includes entry to the exhibition Wonderland: The Magic of the Rose.
