Harry Connick, Jr. one of the today's most versatile and accomplished entertainers - pianist, singer, composer and bandleader - brings his many musical talents to New Zealand this weekend

Connick will play Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch with his exceptional touring band.

Michael Coppel Presents, announce a change to the Christchurch venue for Harry Connick Junior's only South Island performance. Originally to be held at the Town Hall, the concert will now be staged at The James Hay Theatre.

The theatrical setting of the James Hay Theatre is ideally suited to compliment the superb musicianship of Harry Connick Jr, and his touring band, giving fans the rare opportunity to experience this consummate artist in an intimate performance.

All customers who currently have tickets must exchange these in person at the Christchurch Town Hall prior to the event. All seats for pre-purchased tickets will be on hold at the new venue.

Exchange of tickets will commence at midday on Thursday 11 March.

Please note: your new tickets have been allocated based on the order and position of your original ticket purchase, which was made through Ticketek.

Your Songs (Sony Music, 2009) is Connick's most recent release, offering his own fresh take on familiar, classic tunes such as The Carpenter's Close To You, Billy Joel's Just The Way You Are, Roberta Flack's First Time Ever I Saw Your Face and Nat King Cole's Mona Lisa.

Connick, who has not toured New Zealand in over ten years, is said to be eager to reacquaint with his New Zealand fans.
