New Zealand's Judy Bailey is making a return to television by presenting the highly acclaimed and extremely popular international documentary series Little Miracles, launching on the Documentary Channel on Monday 12th April at 8.30pm, Sky Channel 074.

"Judy Bailey has been the on-air voice of the Documentary Channel from the day the channel launched. It is now a great honour to have Judy as a presenter and very exciting to know that she will now have an on-screen role. She is one of New Zealand's most beloved and experienced broadcasters," comments Channel Owner and Programme Director, Richard Driver.

Witness the world's tiniest miracles in this ground-breaking, factual documentary series that takes viewers inside the world-renowned Hospital for Sick Children.

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) is Canada's most research-intensive hospital and one of the world's largest and most respected paediatric academic health sciences centres. Children in every nation of the world have benefited from patient care innovations, preventative medicine practices and strategies, research discoveries and partnerships.

An emotionally gripping series chronicles the ongoing stories of the "little miracles" performed everyday. The miracles of kindness, and caring, scientific discovery and saving children's lives. Real-life inspirational stories of hope, courage and amazing miracles.

"This fly on the wall series had me completely enthralled. The courage of the children involved is boundless and the selflessness of their families an inspiration to all of us", comments Judy Bailey.

Audiences will experience dramatic stories including a child's devastating struggle with epilepsy, a little girl who hears for the first time thanks to a surgically implanted cochlear device and the intensive surgeries faced when a father donates a kidney in order for his teenage son to survive.

Little Miracles is a continuing series about the children's hospital, its patients and their families, dedicated healthcare teams, and the great courage and hope of ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances.

"As a very active advocate for New Zealand Children it seemed appropriate to have Judy introducing the Little Miracles series as it documents the lives of children and their families as they face difficult and emotional medical challenges," adds Driver.
