Kiwi Film A Sell-Out At The Berlin Film Festival

Wellington, Feb 15 NZPA - A New Zealand documentary about a Maori family from Hawke's Bay is proving a success at the Berlin Film Festival, selling out their 1000-seat screenings in just three days.

This Way of Life, which follows a couple and their six children as they tend to 50 horses in the isolated Ruahine ranges, was the only New Zealand documentary chosen to compete at the festival.

Shot over four years, the film is the second feature documentary from Hawke's Bay producers and directors Barbara Sumner Burstyn and Tom Burstyn.

The film will be screened locally from March 11.
