This Saturday 13 March, Auckland Cup Week draws to a close with SKYCITY Diamond Day and the biggest wrap party of the year!

Billed as Ladies Day, Ellerslie will have gifts and prizes on offer for the best dressed fillies including 500 PANDORA Goodie Bags for fashionably well dressed ladies on course!

The PANDORA Diamond Darling competition will see the 14 best-dressed ladies, as selected by the style judges, given a chance to win a glittering prize package from PANDORA, SKYCITY and Nicolas Feuillatte valued at over $10,000! Each of the finalists will draw a horse in the Group I $200,000 Auckland Diamond Stakes race and whoever's horse comes in first will take home the prize!

Auckland Racing Club Marketing Director Rachel Holland believes the fun on offer at Ellerslie this Saturday is the perfect finish a hugely successful fifth Auckland Cup Week.

"2010 has been our most successful Auckland Cup Week to date, with more than 11,000 race goers on course for Telecom Derby Day and around 9,000 on course on Stella Artois Auckland Cup Day. On the track there's been plenty of excitement and throughout the week the quality of fashion on show has been equally fabulous".

"SKYCITY Diamond Day is a relaxed end to Auckland Cup Week, offering a fun filled environment for race goers to let their hair down and celebrate the end of a brilliant week". said Holland.

On the track, the 'Peoples Champion' Sir Slick returns to Ellerslie in the Group I $200,000 SKYCITY New Zealand Stakes. The gelding will have his work cut out, racing a strong field including the inform Red Ruler and Zabeel Classic winner Vosne Romanee.

The Fujifilm Whips n Spurs party in Cuve will be the ultimate end of summer party and this year's theme of Wonderland will see an English garden party with a mischievous twist - think candyfloss, cupcakes and a dash of Alice in Wonderland thrown in. Datemymate will be a new playful addition to encourage singles to mix and mingle with games to break the ice and spice things up!
