Movie Review – Good For Nothing

You ever wondered where the term Spaghetti Western came from? Well, they were Westerns filmed in Italy, but pretending to be USA locations. So one day, a few years back, a Kiwi looked at some of the landscapes of the South Island of New Zealand and thought, ‘this could pass as the USA in the old west’, and that’s how the first ever Pavlova Western came about!

And, it was actually damn good! Way funnier than I thought it would be, and often its cringe scenes had pay offs later in the film, which helped alleviate any sour taste from those earlier ones. My only real bone to pick was the lead actress. Sure she was hot, and looked like Isla Fisher, but she was by far the weakest actor in the film. But she's also the producer, so yeah, that would be why she was cast!

B+ From Me!!!
