I’ve missed many films at this year’s International Film Festival, and this film was one of them. But once again I’m lucky enough to get invited along to the press screening for the films general cinema release, which is a nice way to catch up with ones that passed me by during the festival.

“Iris invites her friend Jack to stay at her family's island getaway after the death of his brother. At their remote cabin, Jack's drunken encounter with Hannah, Iris' sister, kicks off a revealing stretch of days.”

The thing I liked most about 'Your Sister's Sister' was Mark Duplass, who I had never really heard of before seeing this movie, as he's awesome! What I disliked most? The title, because it didn't really make sense, but anyway, the movie itself was enjoyable, if not predictable, but had a core of believability and truth to it, which seemed to stem from what felt like improve from the actors. All up it was enjoyable, but I've seen better, but I think it could work well as a good date night flick.
