There’ll be more cheer for many Christchurch families this Christmas thanks to the Rebuild Christchurch Foundation.

The Foundation is holding a fundraising dance and charity auction on Saturday October 6th at the Roy Stokes Community Hall in New Brighton to raise funds for Project Christmas 2012.

In December 2011, the Rebuild Christchurch Foundation launched Project Christmas which saw $10,000 worth of hampers containing vouchers and gifts, being shared amongst Christchurch families hardest hit by the earthquakes in 2010 and 2011.

This year the Foundation is planning Project Christmas 2012 with the aim of reaching even more families, and providing Christmas cheer to those for whom Christmas is financially difficult as a result of the events of the past two years.
