Deciding what's for tea is almost as trying as the cooking process itself. That's why every Sunday I'll post a list of suggestions for the week following. Pick and choose, be adventurous and try something new. If you don't know how to cook something just drop me a line.

Pasta with meatballs in a bed of tomato sauce, sprinkled with tasty and parmesan, dotted with butter and baked in the oven. Serve with green salad leaves.

Grilled lamb chops with fried potatoes and mushy peas. (Boil twice as many small potatoes as you need. Peel and fry half of them for today. Put the others in the fridge for Thursday.) Serve lamb chops with salad greens and tomato slices.

Risotto with mushrooms, cream and chopped walnuts. Sprinkle with parsley, serve with crusty bread and tomato salad.

Tortilla – Brown cubes of boiled and peeled potatoes (the ones from Tuesday), onions and garlic in a pan, add diced salami or chorizo, pour over a mix of seasoned whisked eggs and a little milk. Cover pan and bake on low heat until set. Serve with salad.

Pumpkin soup with roasted and chopped cashew nuts. Serve with crusty bread.

Pizza with feta, pesto and baby spinach (or silver beet if you prefer). Sprinkle with olive oil and parmesan shavings.

Noodle and vegetable stir-fry. Assemble Hokkien noodles, spring onions and strips of your choice of vegetables. Stir-fry and add a sauce made of Hoisin, sweet chilli, oyster and soy sauce. Sprinkle with chopped coriander.
