A total of 21 Northlanders have put their names forward for the Northland District Health Board elections.
DHB elections take place at the same time as local authority elections. Seven DHB members are elected by the local community, with up to four further Board members appointed by the Minister of Health.
Voting begins in September, with voting documents sent to Northland households by the electoral office. Votes will close on 9 October, and newly-elected Board members will take office in December.
