Leading Kiwi psychologist Nigel Latta, author Lisa O’Neill and All Blacks Manager-Leadership, Gilbert Enoka are coming together to help Auckland’s young people learn how to fight stress and build resilience at ‘Bouncing Back’ - an event to be held tonight at 5.30pm at SKYCITY.

Supported by AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand, the free event is being attended by around 400 Auckland teenagers, teachers, Bungy crew and members of the tourism industry following the success of a similar event held in Queenstown in December.

AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand co-founder and managing director Henry van Asch, who will open the session, says the company chose to bring together this world-class lineup as a way of acknowledging the community - and incredible crew - that has supported the business for 30 years.

"Everybody needs a little help bouncing back sometimes. We wanted to show our gratitude to the communities we operate in by bringing these inspiring speakers together to share their expertise and knowledge on an issue that is vital to all of us," he says.

"Keeping mentally strong in our modern world can be extremely challenging. Nigel, Lisa and Gilbert each bring a different and valuable insight into the discussion around mental health and wellbeing that I’m sure our attendees will learn from."
