A free gardening class, hosted by award winning landscape designer and TV personality Xanthe White, will be held at Daltons Landscape Supplies Yard, Mount Wellington, Auckland on Saturday 29th October 2011 from 2-4pm.

Xanthe will be teaching attendees how to transplant seedlings successfully and talking about how to keep your garden healthy. Have you got a tricky gardening question? Come along and see if you can stump our Daltons garden experts. Their breadth of knowledge covers all aspects of horticulture. Oakdale organics will also be hosting a segment whereby you can learn all about organic gardening.

The first of its kind, Daltons purpose built gardening school was designed by Xanthe and inspired by 'outdoor urban living for families', it accommodates practical lessons, complete with workbenches, raised beds and a show garden.

Classes are held for gardeners of all levels on the last Saturday of each month from 2-4pm and hosted by experts in the field. The school aims to give an opportunity for anyone interested in any aspect of gardening the ability to mix with likeminded people and learn from the experts.
