Dirty old rotten old Global Warming, said to be caused by us dirty rotten people, is now being described as history's biggest scam. Why?

I scored some cold facts about the hot topic of global temperature change, all thanks to a secret squirrel who forwarded thousands of documents and emails to the media, detailing 13 years worth of climate change research which revealed some scientists had turned a blind eye to research that didn’t match their desired hypotheses. Of course the inevitable jabber and enthusiastic outrage ensues about who got rich, which politicians are corrupt, and who received sexual favours, neither of which is here nor there on the grand scale of things – but it is all very exciting nonetheless.

Does it really matter that we were fed inaccuracies and propaganda? If “the end justifies the means” then perhaps it could be argued that a good shake up is just what we need to change our filthy and wasteful habits, in which 20% of the world’s population consumes 80% of the world’s resources. That’s just not fair. Even if global temperature changes have occurred through no fault of human populations, there is still no Planet B. I am 100% in favour of cleaning up our act and living in a more conscientious, sustainable world.

The alternative scientific explanations for global change suggests “we simply may not have the power” to create global warming. The ancient question that haunts mankind returns - can we humble our egos enough to appreciate that the world does not revolve around us? Some are attributing altered global temperatures to factors completely out of our control – gravity, planets, and the sun.

Physicists have published findings that have shown changes in the earth’s shape and axial rotation, showing “for the first time that changes in the Earth’s shape, when coupled with the gravitational effects from other planets, can produce large changes in the Earth’s climate.” Even the slightest changes of the earth’s axis affects climate because sunlight will hit areas differently. There are also many different gravitational and magnetic affects influencing the earth which scientists can attribute change to. NASA have recorded a record breaking number of sunspots and coronal mass ejections on the sun – I don’t know what that means - but according to my source, this may cause a ‘general reorganization of the electro-magnetosphere of our planet’. A geologist from the Russian Academy of Science currently believes the earth’s magnetic poles are shifting. In the words of somebody who knew better, “the universe is not required to be in perfect harmony with human ambition.” Perhaps it is us who need to work harder to be in harmony with the universe...

"The Sun, with all the planets revolving around it, and depending on it, can still ripen a bunch of grapes as though it had nothing else in the Universe to do.” Galileo Galilei
