Saint Clair Family Estate has been awarded the Guala Closures Trophy for the Champion Sauvignon Blanc at the Royal Easter Show Wine Awards for the Saint Clair Pioneer Block 6 Oh! Block Sauvignon Blanc 2009.

This was announced at the trophy presentation dinner held in Auckland ASB showgrounds on Saturday night (March, 20). A grand total of 1517 wines were tasted from 276 different New Zealand wineries.

Gold medals were awarded to 102 wines, seven of which were from Saint Clair Family Estate. The following Saint Clair Family Estate wines achieved top class gold medal standard:
