Many baby boomers or, to use the modern euphemism "senior singles" have entered the dating market but so far as online dating is concerned, senior singles need to keep a few things in mind relating to what they do and how they do it. When you're older, you're hardly wanting to just meet anyone (mostly, anyway) but instead are a little more discerning about who you want to meet, where you want to meet and what sort of person you expect to meet.
This means, more than ever, taking real care about putting together an honest and yet attractive profile and using a site that will help 'filter' the people who may not be the 'type' you want.
As a one-to-one matchmaker, I've dealt with an increasing number of people who have come from the online dating area a little frustrated, but at the same time at least with a 'dating mindset' that makes them more likely to meet someone. Online dating is great for some, but for the senior singles, it does require a lot more care than might be the case for those playing around in the dating scene. So take care, in every sense.
