Auckland pedestrians will have a lunch time treat on Thursday as local pop-star, Dane Rumble, takes the stage on a billboard to celebrate the month that was - Vodafone's 30 Days of Music.

Dane will be performing the high-altitude FREE gig on the corner of Fort Street and Commerce Street at 12:30pm on Thursday 30 September.

"I've played at a lot of locations in Auckland but never on a billboard so it will be an interesting gig for me. I will be doing vigorous safety checks before I hit the stage, that's for sure!" says Dane.

The month of music is part of Vodafone's countdown to the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards (VNZMAs), and offers Vodafone customers daily downloads, prizes, in-store signings, celebrity interviews, regional VNZMA Finalist's Showcases and the chance to vote for the People's Choice Award and present on stage at the VNZMAs.
