The Oticon Foundation in New Zealand has today awarded a research grant of almost $350,000 to the University of Canterbury to investigate the prevention of hearing loss during ear surgery.

The New Zealand Audiological Society is accusing the Government of turning its back on thousands of people whose hearing has been damaged at work with its planned ACC changes.
Making it easier to find out about hearing loss and what can be done about it is the rationale behind a new resource developed by the Hearing Association and funded by the Oticon Foundation in New Zealand.
Projects to improve the lives of the hearing impaired have received a financial injection, thanks to funding from the Oticon Foundation in New Zealand.
