A lucky Powerball player from Northland has scooped their very own golden egg after winning $8.3 million with Powerball First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player in Northland and is made up of $8 million from Powerball First Division and $333,333 from Lotto First Division.

This win follows on from a $12.5 million Powerball prize won by a Wairarapa couple in early March. The couple held onto their winning ticket for over a week before claiming their prize.

Two lucky players from Taranaki and Amberley will also be celebrating after each winning $333,333 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw. The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Countdown Amberley in Amberley and to a player on MyLotto in Taranaki.

Strike Four has rolled over tonight and will be $600,000 on Saturday.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at or through the Lotto NZ App.
