A Strike player from Northland will be jumping for joy after scooping the entire $700,000 jackpot in tonight’s Strike Must Be Won draw.

The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Whangarei.

Meanwhile, two Lotto players from Whangaparoa and Rolleston will also be celebrating after each winning $500,000 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at New World Whangaparaoa in Whangaparaoa and New World Rolleston in Rolleston.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $5 million.

Every day Lotto players support conservation projects around the country that help protect our living national treasures. The Taranaki Kiwi Trust works with locals to create areas of predator-free bush and is a great example of Kiwis helping kiwis flourish.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should check it immediately in-store at any Lotto shop, online at, or through the Lotto NZ App.
