Auckland Lotto player scoops $1 million

A Lotto player from Auckland will be thanking their lucky stars after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at New World Birkenhead in Auckland.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $9 million.

Meanwhile, Strike Four was won by a Palmerston North player, who takes home $400,000. The winning Strike ticket was sold at Melody’s New World in Palmerston North.

Lotto NZ’s first-ever Keno promotion kicks off tomorrow. Players who purchase a Keno ticket worth $5 or more between Sunday 7 October and 6pm on Sunday 21 October will be in the draw to win one of five trips to Las Vegas for them and three friends.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
