A lucky Lotto player from Dargaville will be unwrapping an extra Christmas gift this Boxing Day after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Countdown Dargaville in Dargaville.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $20 million.

Strike Four was also won tonight, with two players from Auckland each taking home $100,000. The winning Strike tickets were sold at Whitcoulls Silverdale and Avondale Foodmarket.

Lotto New Zealand’s Christmas promotion is now on. All Lotto Triple Dip tickets bought between Sunday 9 December and 7.30pm Saturday 29 December are in the draw to win over 400 extra prizes, including $1 million cash, ten Ford Mustangs and 400 prizes of $5,000 cash.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
