$22.3 million Powerball win for Taranaki player

The year may have just begun, but 2019 will already be a year to remember for a lucky player from Inglewood who won $22.3 million with Powerball First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Inglewood Bookcentre in Inglewood and is made up of $22 million from Powerball First Division and $333,333 from Lotto First Division.

Two other Lotto players will also be celebrating tonight after each winning $333,333 with Lotto First Division. The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Pak N Save Porirua and on MyLotto to a player from Wellington.

Meanwhile, Strike Four rolled over tonight and will be $300,000 on Saturday.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at or through the Lotto NZ ticket-checker app.
