Powerball’s winning streak continues with a lucky player from Auckland winning $9.2 million with Powerball First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto.

The $9.2 million prize is made up of $9 million from Powerball First Division and $200,000 from Lotto First Division.

This is the ninth time that Powerball First Division has been won so far this year. Following on from a player from Taipa in Northland who won $5.5 million earlier this month. The winner plans to give back to his local community with the winnings.

Four other Lotto players from Hastings, Napier, Christchurch and Ashburton will also be celebrating after winning $200,000 with Lotto First Division tonight. The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Unichem Stortford Lodge Pharmacy in Hastings, Countdown Napier in Napier and on MyLotto to players from Christchurch and Ashburton.

Meanwhile, Strike rolled over tonight and will be $300,000 on Saturday.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of their ticket and check it immediately in-store at any Lotto shop, online at or through the Lotto NZ App.

Players can phone Lotto NZ on 0800 695 6886 if they want to enquire about the best way to claim a prize.
