Hamilton Lotto player wins $1 million

A Hamilton Lotto player will be celebrating a midweek windfall after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Flagstaff Supervalue in Hamilton.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $5 million.

Strike also rolled over tonight and will be $600,000 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the $12.2 million Powerball First Division prize won by an Auckland MyLotto player on Saturday is yet to be claimed. Anyone who purchased a ticket on MyLotto for the Lotto draw on Saturday 17 August should check their ticket immediately at MyLotto.co.nz.
