Two Lotto players from Hastings and Waikato will be popping the champagne after taking home $500,000 with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning tickets were sold at Countdown Hastings in Hastings and on MyLotto to a player from Waikato.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $16 million.

Strike Four also rolled over tonight and will be $300,000 on Wednesday night.

Did you know that every time you play one of Lotto NZ’s games, you’re a Kiwi helping other Kiwis - like Benjiro, a six-year old boy with cerebral palsy. Benjiro is just one of the 450 young people that take part in StarJam’s 44 workshops held around the country each week. These workshops provide young Kiwis living with a disability the opportunity to pursue their love of music while feeling truly included. Read more about Benjiro’s story on MyLotto:

Anyone who bought their ticket from the above winning store should check their ticket immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at or through the Lotto NZ App.
