$5.2 Million Start To The New Year For Big Wednesday Player In Te Kuiti

For a Big Wednesday player in Te Kuiti, the start to 2011 couldn't have been better as they are now the proud winners of a First Division prize package worth $5.26 million, says Chief Executive Todd McLeay.

"The year is only a couple of weeks old and it's gotten off to a great start for this Big Wednesday player in Te Kuiti now that they are $5 million richer," says Mr McLeay.

Last night's winner won a package worth $5,261,213, made up of $3.5 million cash, plus an Aston Martin DB9, an Audi A4 Avant, a Visa Platinum card loaded with $250,000, a $250,000 cash towards luxury travel prize package, a Luxury Four Winns V258 boat and $750,000 cash prize towards a bach.

The winning ticket was sold their ticket from Take Note Te Kuiti in Te Kuiti.

Mr McLeay's advice for this week's Big Wednesday winner is to write their name and address on their ticket as soon as possible, confirming ownership, and to contact NZ Lotteries in order to determine their next steps.

There was one other big winner this week, with a player from Otahuhu in Auckland winning $25,000 with Big Wednesday's Second Chance draw. The winning ticket was sold at Crystal Mini Mart and Lotto in Otahuhu and the serial number is 962-37039882-13XX.
