Wellington, March 12 NZPA - Lower Hutt police are investigating an attempted rape at a train station this morning.
Pomare railway station on Eastern Hutt Road was closed to the public after the alleged attack at 7am, a central police communications spokesman told NZPA.
There have so far been no arrests, but Lower Hutt CIB were investigating the incident.
The station had reopened by 7.45am, the spokesman said.
