Bright days ahead for Lotto winners in Nelson and Mangonui

While summer has not delivered for many New Zealanders, two lucky Lotto players from Nelson and Mangonui will be brighter after each winning $500,000 with Lotto First Division, says NZ Lotteries' Acting Chief Executive, Warren Salisbury.

"With this great prize, our winners will be able to chase the sunshine on an overseas holiday," says Mr Salisbury.

The winning tickets were sold at Richmond Night N' Day in Nelson and Mangonui Stationery and Lotto in Mangonui.

Meanwhile, Lotto Powerball jackpotted meaning it will be an estimated $7.5 million next week.

Strike Four was not struck and jackpots to an estimated $800,000 next week.

Meanwhile, Peter from Rangiora spun and won $200,000 on the Winning Wheel at the live draw in Wellington this evening.

Tonight's Winning Wheel ticket was purchased at Orewa Lotto Plus in Orewa, Auckland. The serial number is 343-04340770-20XX.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet."

All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto's Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy.
