Auckland Transport reports isolated incidents of road surface flooding, mainly on the North Shore (Sunnyfield Cres, Easton Park Parade and Manuka Rd in Glenfield), have cleared.

However motorists are urged to take extra care and drive to the conditions as rain continues to fall around the region.

The forecast is for rains to ease and clear later in the afternoon.
