Bullseye celebrated its first Division One prize winner last night, with a lucky Christchurch player winning $115,000, says NZ Lotteries' Acting Chief Executive Warren Salisbury.

"After just four draws this player has beaten the odds of 1 in 1 million to hit the Bullseye!" says Mr Salisbury.

The winning Bullseye ticket was sold at Lotto and Wild Thingz in Christchurch and the winning Bullseye number was '667899'.

"We're very excited that we've sold our first top Bullseye prize, and can't wait for the winner to come forward and claim their prize.

"The interest in our new game this past week has been great, with people liking the chance to win $100,000 plus for only $2," says Mr Salisbury.

Lotto and Wild Thingz owner Bernie says the staff in the store were jumping up and down when they heard they'd sold the first big winning Bullseye ticket.

"We're over the moon, you only get to sell the first one once and it's really great that we've been the ones to do it.

"We're just hoping now that the winner's a local," said Bernie.

"Anyone who bought a Bullseye ticket at Lotto and Wild Thingz should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it as soon as possible," Mr Salisbury says.
