LG Mobile releases an innovative range of QWERTY handsets
LG Mobile is set to launch an exciting new range of QWERTY handsets, sure to make fumbling while texting a thing of the past.
Perfect for heavy text and internet users, with two models available on the Vodafone network, LG's easy to use QWERTY handsets have messaging and browsing covered.
The GW300 and GW525 feature large colour screens. The GW300's funky layout comes in hot pink or blue options, while the super stylish GW525 hides its QWERTY keyboard behind a slide screen featuring LG Mobile's innovative touch technology.
LG Mobile New Zealand Business Manager, Adam Gordon is excited to be launching these innovative handsets into a market where texing and social networking is now an integral part of everyday life.
"With more than six billion text messages sent per annum, New Zealanders are one of the highest users of text messaging per capita in the world. LG's new range of QWERTY handsets offer features perfect for texting, browsing the web and social networking through sites like Facebook and Twitter, at very competitive prices. The launch of these handsets is just another example of LG Mobile's innovation offering products perfect for Kiwi mobile users," said Gordon.
Priced at $399.00 the GW300 features a 2.4" display with full QWERTY keypad, 2MP camera, MP3 and radio functionality, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and excellent battery life, making it the perfect Christmas gift for the young social networker in the family.
The GW525, priced at $799.00, features a 2.8" full touch screen display with a slider QWERTY keyboard, 3MP camera, document viewer, enhanced messaging and social networking features and push e-mail.
The handsets will be available from Vodafone dealers from October, just in time for Christmas.
