Hopeful Indiana Jones and budding Amelia Earharts have been exploring Auckland Museum - and they've been uncovering all sorts of incredible people, places and prehistoric creatures.
Since launching this weekend, the museum's Dangerous Museum for Boys and Daring Girls school holiday programme has proved immensely popular - the museum has already ordered new exploration kits to keep up with demand.
The Dangerous Museum Exploration Kit allows brave boys and girls (and their parents) to discover heroic tales of adventure throughout the three floors of Auckland's iconic museum. Kids can also uncover terrifying bugs, try their hand at knot tying, paper plane making, identifying ancient fossils and so much more.
"The Dangerous Museum activity packs have been flying out the door," says Auckland Museum Events Manager Dianne Blomfield. "It's fantastic to see so many children exploring the wonderful stories in the museum."
The Dangerous Museum for Boys and Daring Girls programme costs $5 and runs until 19 July during the museum's open hours: 10am-5pm.
